![]() ![]() It is worth noting that ships in World of Warships will also have a new parameter called “minimum shell-type switching time.” So, players have a brief window between shell switching and reloading before the reload time is affected. ![]() In the upcoming patch, all turrets no longer need to be fully loaded, meaning the accelerated shell-type switching bonus is applied immediately. This effectively improves the Gun Feeder Commander Skill.įor the uninitiated, Gun Feeder is a Commander Skill that reduces reload time when the shell type is switched by 50%, but this is only applicable if all main battery guns are loaded. In Update 0.11.8, the gun reload mechanic when switching shell types has been changed. The upcoming patch is also bringing back three highly awaited Operations: The Ultimate Frontier, Hermes, and Cherry Blossom. Furthermore, the 30-minute restriction for re-entry into battle playing the same ship has been removed. For one, players can now enter battle playing Tier VI to Tier VIII ships in any Operation. The developers are trying their best to make Operations appealing again, so they’ve made huge changes in Update 0.11.8. Back then, players were only restricted to one ship tier, and they were unable to re-enter the battle with the same ship without incurring additional expenses. Operations in World of Warships are not popular among the community due to their highly restrictive nature. This massive patch features a lot of interesting changes, most notably to the reload mechanics and Operations. Update 0.11.8 for World of Warships is expected to launch this Thursday, September 8. ![]()

![]() Experience helps with Torps, but I get more consistent use out of Hydro than I do out of Tirpitz's or Brandenburg's torps against actual humans (most people won't let you get close enough, or are capable of dodging). Owning all 3 Bismarck hulls, I feel naked without Hydro. Sadly, the game rarely gives us such opportunities to display it.īismarck's Hydro is big as a team component, not only are you spotting for you, you're spotting for everyone around you. Like I said on a 1v1 I am not scared of any Tier 8 BB's and most Tier 9's don't frighten my either.īrandenburg (and Tirpitz) will take most other BB's 1v1, and can engage many higher tier ships on equal footing. Zeiten is real squishy and you can match her in secondary battery fire easily. Honestly Hydro isn't very big of a deal because I am pretty good a predicting torps and I have become very good at shooting DD's. But like I said if you angle you can easily take on a Bismarck and a Tirpitz. Brandenburg is superior in every way other than health. There is no reason to play Bismarck unless you are grinding the tree and Tirpitz (I love Tirpitz) is just a worse buy compared to Brandenburg. They all play similarly but Brandenburg just out plays all of them. ![]() One on One NO other Tier 8 BB can compete with her. I honestly don't know why people sleep on this ship or why the big Youtuber/Streamers don't like it. The only ship I have played which has better is the Schlieffen. Again, I played the Agir a lot before Brandenburg so I got really used to using the 12" guns. The guns will do damage and will surprise you once you learn how to use them. ![]() (I used to be able to do 10-15k but WG nerfed her Sigma. However, this isn't the case I can easily do 8-10K salvos with her guns against any target. You would also assume the 12" guns would be lethargic and underwhelming. You time it right you can swing it around and get off your salvo and swing it back before you can get punished. You think her bad gun angles would hurt her but it really doesn't. It has really good armor and can bounce quite a lot of rounds when you angle her. ![]() I constantly get 100+K damage games in it without fail. Having been playing it for several months It IS the best Tier eight Battleship. ![]() |
